If you’re interested in learning about OpenCV, Artificial Intelligence or Robotics and want to take the fear out of you, you’ve come to the right place.
I’m a passionate Computer Vision researcher who has launched its own Online Shopping Image Search Engine using CV. I’ve worked on many CV projects from detecting the abandoned bags, facial recognition, parking lot management system to Forest Fire and Smoke Detection.
I received my Masters in Science from SMU, India. I started this blog because when i first started working on openCV, i had a lot of fear because of its requirement to know Image Processing, Mathematics, and pure Science but then when i started working on OpenCV projects i realized that it’s not about knowing all three but understanding them at the foundation level that will help to work easily on this path. Using this blog, my motto is for you guys to take the fear out and become a guru in Computer Vision and AI.
If you’re interested in Computer Vision, AI and Robotics, how to code and build your own programs in them, subscribe to my email newsletter to receive FREE tips and tricks I’ve learned over the past years.
About this Blog
This blog is dedicated to helping other programmers understand how Computer Vision, AI and Robotics work. While a lot of computer vision concepts are theoretical in nature, I’m a big fan of “learning by example”.
My name is Pankaj Pande. I’ve been working in the corporate world for the past 10 years, while at the same time earning my MSc in Information Technology with a focus in Computer Vision and Machine Learning at the Sikkim Manipal University, INDIA.
